Developed by ETX, GoVerifyit (GVI) is recognized by PhonePayPlus as an independent and secure third party verification solution. It enables merchants to create an audit trail of users visiting any site on any device. GVI authenticates not only the user’s consent for opting into subscription/purchase/marketing but also verifies the terms & conditions (e.g. pricing) displayed prior to their giving consent. The sign-up pages are hosted and rendered by GVI and each user experience is recorded for downstream inspection by the regulator or MNOs. For desktop based access, solution involves user inputting MSISDN and subsequently pin (independently provided by GVI). For smartphone access, users are redirected to a GVI hosted version of merchant page and we send out a message with an embedded link. If consumer clicks on this embedded link, GVI records and redirects consumer back to merchant.
