Achievements
We have been successfully representing members' interests since 1995. In this time the industry has developed from a basic value add telecoms environment to a fully interactive media and entertainment rich industry. Our achievements map the developing nature of our organisation and a few of the significant achievements are highlighted below.
2010 Proposals to change regulations to aid the reintroduction of SMS voting accepted by PhonepayPlus and amendments to Participation TV Prior Permission approval rules published

2010 Successfully lobbied Ofcom to reconsider ASA advertising restrictions which threatened to close popular Psychic Entertainment Services
- 2010 Regulatory Best Practice working group meeting regularly with PhonepayPlus on regulatory process and range of AIME Best Practice guides expanded
2010 Lobbied for changes to PhonepayPlus Virtual Chat Help Note issued Dec 2009 and achieved significant amendments with new Help Note published Feb 2010

2009 Proposal for Merchant Promoter Registration & Central Industry Database agreed by Ofcom. To be implemented under PhonepayPlus 12th Code of Practice
