The inaugural Connected Summit kicks off next week in central London and will be two days packed with discussion, work shops and networking, dedicated to how the Telemedia industry can connect consumers to the media, content and billing that they want.
Organised by the folks behind T360 and mSummit series, the event promises to provide the Telemedia industry with its main UK trading exchange and remains committed to promoting the benefits and opportunities of premium-rate based interactivity.
The new “connected” structure now also showcases the fullest range of digital engagement technology for target sectors that include:
(day 1) – Media Companies, TV Companies, Radio, Entertainment & Live Events
(day 2) – Marketing, Advertising, Retail, Commerce & Interactive Technology
Plus, Payforit 4’s official launch
The UK MNOs have selected The Connected Summit to launch the mobile operator payment service Payforit 4.
As reported in the Exchange last month (4 things you need to know about Payforit 4) this iteration of the payment platform includes many additional features, such as an Embed version for seamless branding of the payment experience within websites and web apps, and Payforit Single Click making repeat purchases much quicker and easier.
The launch will include several conference sessions and an AIME Knowledge and Networking workshop and an open drinks reception on the 15th and is aimed at merchants, media groups and aggregators eager to understand the key advantages of this important interactive billing solution.
Jarvis Todd, event co-founder said: “This is the first event under our new “connected” brand which we believe better reflects the broader range of sectors and applications that will benefit from the wealth experience, expertise and technology within our “telemedia” vendor community.
“We put the consumer at the forefront of our thinking for these events – since they’re the ones that effectively control the market. As more consumers use their telephones, mobiles, smartphones, tablets, games consoles and netbooks to interact with TV, print, advertised media content, calls to action and of course social networks – the ability to connect has never been more strategically important.”
